Diagnosis

The forewing border is broad, enclosing deep red, and with a single indentation in its basal margin.

Geographical Range

Sumatra, Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.

Habitat Preference

The species has been recorded flying by day infrequently from the coast at Seria in Brunei to as high as 1660m on G. Kinabalu.
