Diagnosis
The broad blackish suffusion in the medial area of the hindwing, extending to the posterior half of the same zone of the forewing, distinguishes this species from other greyish members of the Myrioblephara generic complex.
Geographical range
Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference
The species is most characteristic of lower montane forest, noted with frequency at 1000m on G. Mulu, at 1500m and 1620m on G. Kinabalu, and singly at 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
