Rivula robinsoni Holloway sp. n.

♂ 6mm. This is a smaller and much darker species than faircloughi, particularly its hindwings which are dark brown rather than ochreous. The dark brown suffusion associated with the discal spot is broader and stronger, leaving a smaller area of pale ground colour submarginally, and a prominent patch over the costal half between the antemedial and the discal spot. The whitish punctate fasciae are less evident than in faircloughi but similar in course. The male abdomen is modified in a similar manner to that of faircloughi. The genitalia are also similar, but the distal part of each valve is very much narrower and distinctly curved over the apical part. The aedeagus vesica is smaller, but has numerous short blunt cornuti.
