Geographical range
Sundaland east to New Guinea, New Caledonia and Fiji.
Habitat preference
One specimen has been recorded from Kampong Kapok, an area of habitation with some coastal vegetation, including mangrove, on the coast of Brunei.
Biology
Robinsonet al. (2001) recordedErythrina,PterocarpusandSennaas host plants, all Leguminosae. In New Guinea, Milleret al. (unpublished) noted 286 rearings fromPterocarpus but also single records fromRandia,PsychotriaandTarenna(Rubiaceae), andPhyllanthus(Euphorbiaceae).*
