Diagnosis
The general colour is as in nebulilinea, but the forewings are apically more acute, particularly in males, and the postmedial fasciation is inconspicuous, irregular, within a diffusely darker submarginal shade. The hindwings are much paler than the forewings, but have a narrowly darker border with a diffuse inner boundary that is curved rather than straight; this is broader in females.
Geographical range
India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Andamans, Borneo, N. Moluccas, Australia (Nielsen *et al., 1996).
Habitat preference
The species has not been taken in recent surveys. The type material offetna Swinhoe is labelled as being from G. Kinabalu but lacks precise data.*
