Diagnosis

See P. chlora above.

The green tinge is never as dark as in subviridis, and the forewing discal mark is very narrow above, somewhat elongate, arcuate below.

The male genitalia have diagnostic asymmetry of the basal ornamentation of the valves.

Geographical range

Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi.

Habitat preference

Three specimens have been taken in recent surveys, all from the lowlands, one from a cultivated area (Tuaran, Sabah) and the others from dry heath forest (Telisai) and swamp forest (Daerah Belait) in Brunei.
