Diagnosis
The general appearance resembles that of some lithosiine arctiids in the Eilema Hübner complex, with narrow blackish wings, the forewing darker and with a narrow yellow-orange edge to the costa.
Geographical range
Borneo, Burma; N. India (ssp. flavicosta).
Habitat preference
No Bornean material has been seen, but Borneo was the type locality included given in the original description of lithosina (Jordan, 1907).
