Diagnosis
The hindwing tail is much shorter than in podaliriata and claretta, and is marked by a black dot in the centre of its basal portion.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat Preference
During the Mulu survey the species was taken most commonly at 1000m in lower montane forest on G. Mulu but also at 150m in dipterocarp forest on the lower slopes. On G. Kinabalu records were from between 1050m and 1620m. The species has also been taken in the lowlands of Brunei, including the dry kerangas at Telisai.
