Diagnosis
This species is sexually dimorphic as in flabrifera, the females being much paler and yellower than the males and with more elongate, ovate forewings, but there is a black marginal zone to the forewing underside that is more pronounced than in chilomorpha. Males also have the antennae slightly swollen over several flagellomeres each side of and including the tenth. The synonymy recognises this dimorphism, nodicornis being based on the male and rotundipennis on the female.
