Diagnosis

The wings are yellow, finely striated and blotched with dark brown. The forewing discal spot is prominent.

Taxonomic Notes

Bornean specimens are somewhat smaller than Himalayan ones. In the male genitalia the apex of the valve is less produced, angled rather than straight ventrally, and the saccular spur is shorter, less sclerotised.
