Micrulia subzebrina Holloway sp. n.

Pseudomimetis picta Warren sensu Holloway, 1976: 70, fig. 499.

♂ 8mm. The upperside facies is similar to that ofMariaba picta but the forewings are less heavily marked and the hindwings have the discal spot stronger and the darker fasciae somewhat straighter over the posterior two thirds. The underside is diagnostic, strongly marked as in other Micrulia, fasciated black on bone-white. The forewing has curved medial, postmedial and submarginal fasciae, with the discal spot just basal to the first. Between the discal spot and the base of the wing there are longitudinal black streaks. The hindwing has a similar series of fasciae, but with an antemedial rather than longitudinal streaks. These fasciae are mostly straight except subcostally. The discal spot is set in the medial fascia. The male genitalia have the saccus rather short, and the valves are sharply narrowed over the distal half. The aedeagus vesica has two clusters of robust cornuti. In the absence of a female, assignation to Micruliais tentative.
