Meekistrotia bacchusi Holloway sp. n.
♂♂ 8-9mm. The forewing pattern is very similar to that of meeki, with an extensive but irregular black patch medially over the posterior two-thirds of the wing, defined distally by a pale postmedial; smaller, irregular black patches run to the apex from centrally, just distal to the postmedial. The male genitalia have the valves narrower than in meeki, particularly distal to the subapical taper. Their apices lack the outward falcation seen in meeki.

Taxonomic note
There is a species in Sulawesi with facies as in meeki and bacchusi, but with the valves of the male genitalia (slide 20703) intermediate in robustness and with a slight hook at the apex.

Borneo, Sumatra (HS / ZSM).
Habitat preference
All material is from lowland forest; the last paratype listed is a voucher for two specimens taken in primary forest understorey (S.J. Willott, unpublished data).
