Diagnosis

The relatively uniform brown facies in combination with the apical pale patch of the forewing are distinctive.

Geographical range

Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference.

The species is infrequent in lower and upper montane forest zones.
