Lassaba acribomena Prout comb. n.
Medasina acribomena Prout, 1928, Bull. Hill. Mus., Witley, 2 :157.
Diagnosis
The ground colour is white, mottled with vinous grey, and there are regular, dentate, brown postmedial fasciae parallel to the wing margins. The next species is more heavily irrorated over the whole surface of the wings. On the underside acribomena has the forewing submarginal dark band always separated from the margin and tornus by a band of whitish ground colour, whereas in vinacea the band usually extends to the tornus. The male genitalia provide clear diagnosis.
