Kunugia ferox Holloway sp. n.
Diagnosis
♂♂ 45-52mm, ♀♀ 75-80mm.
This is the largest of the Sundanian trio allied to placida Moore.
The general colour is dark rich brown, the forewings with four darker, diagnostically straight and oblique fasciae.
The white discal spot is prominent though not as large as in suanoides. The male genitalia have the cubile arms short, broad, the spines small.

The species is infrequent in lowland forest and secondary associations.
