Heoeugorna ochrovittata Pagenstecher
Ophiusa ochrovittata Pagenstecher, 1894, Jb. nassau. Ver. Naturk
Diagnosis
The general build, colour and wing shape is as in the generic description, but the forewing white band in females is straight, obliquely transverse, running from the centre of the costa to the dorsum and containing a fine dark brown line that runs right along it but is to the distal side of central. In males the fasciation of the forewing is more irregular, particularly within the transverse band which is a creamy ochreous colour rather than white. Both sexes have a creamy patch at the apex of the hindwing. This sexual dimorphism led Pagenstecher to describe each sex as a distinct species, based on material from Java.
