Diagnosis
The forewing has a broad, angled medial band, with a pale area basal to it, with a similar, but more sinuous band on the hindwing.
The hindwing postmedial is fine, pale, shallowly but regularly curved.
Translucent areas occur in the centre of both fore- and hindwings just interior to the postmedials.
Geographical range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference
The two specimens taken in recent surveys were from forest at 270m on limestone near the Melinau Gorge and from lowland forest (30-60m) at Labi in Brunei.
Older material is from Sandakan and Pulo Laut, also lowland localities.
