Diagnosis
This species is smaller, more delicate than the Dasyboarmia Prout species, with clearer, finer, more oblique delineation of the forewing pattern.
Taxonomic Notes
The marked asymmetry of the apices of the valves in the male genitalia is shared by several taxa in the genus. Differences between Himalayan and Bornean specimens in their genitalia are slight.
Geographical Range
W. China, N.E. Himalaya; Borneo.
Habitat Preference
The species is characteristic of the upper montane zone on G. Kinabalu, ranging from 1200m to 2100m. One specimen has been taken on G. Poi in Sarawak.
