Diagnosis
The facies is much as in phaneroscia but the species is larger, the wings darker, the red fasciation slightly richer, less pink in tone.
Geographical Range
Borneo.
Habitat Preference
The species is only known from the type locality, G. Murud, and from G. Kinabalu. Altitude data are only available for the latter, with the species occurring from 1500m to 1930m.
