Dyrzela increnulata Warren

Dyrzela increnulata Warren, 1913, Gross-Schmett. Erde, 11:176.

Dyrzela bosca Swinhoe sensu Holloway, 1976: 14 (partim).

Diagnosis

The forewings are browner than in the next two species, and the subapical costal patch is evenly dark brown throughout rather than paler anteriorly. The genitalia of all three species are very similar, with a very narrow valve, a single angular process from the costa, and a sclerotised, triangular ‘corema’. The valve costal process in increnulata is much narrower than in **bosca, spine-like rather than triangular.

Taxonomic notes. D

bosca** is typically from Burma and resembles more closely the next species, with greyer forewings and a subapical costal patch that darkens towards the posterior. In bosca this is very narrow, and the fine fasciae are weak and more irregular.
