Diagnosis
See D. saponaria . The wings are relatively slightly marked as in saponaria, lacking the brownish suffusion of the next two.
Geographical range
Taiwan, Ryukyu Is., India, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimen seen is from Sandakan, a lowland coastal locality.
Biology
Inoue (1971) noted the species as reared from larvae feeding on Vitex (Verbenaceae) in the Ryukyu Is.
