Decticryptis pulchra Holloway sp. n.

Image of [object Object] Holloway ♀ (holotype)
♀ (holotype)

♀ 5mm. The wing shape is more as in deleta, and the wing patterns are strongly developed. The angle of the forewing postmedial is truncated as in deleta but this truncation is well separated from the margin such that the band distal to the postmedial is of even width rather than strongly constricted where the truncated angle occurs in deleta. The zone distal to the postmedial in all wings is more buff, less darkly irrorated than in deleta. On the hindwing the discal mark is much closer to the antemedial than to the postmedial, whereas in deleta it is more centrally placed. The genitalia have the spirals of the ductus seminalis similar to those of deleta but the sclerotisation at the base of the ductus bursae resembles a pierced disc, and does not extend much beyond the origin of the ductus seminalis. The spines on the girdle at the centre of the corpus bursae are shorter than in the other two species, and the minor spines basal to the girdle include a short arc nearest the girdle.
