Diagnosis
See the generic description: the combination of extensive orange irroration, fine, black fasciae and marginal pale patches is diagnostic.
Geographical Range
Burma, Borneo.
Habitat Preference
All the specimens seen are from a narrow range of altitude in the vicinity of G. Kinabalu: two from 1530m, 1km south of Kundasan (in USNM, Washington); one from Mesilau (1500m), one from Kinabalu Park H.Q. (1620m) amongst the material catalogued by Holloway (1976) but not identified at that time.
