Diagnosis

The facies is Alcis -like, but the dark discal lunules and the forewing orbicular have a whitish surround. The postmedial and submarginal fasciae of all wings are irregularly sinuous, and the hindwings have a dark brown fascia just basal to the discal mark. There are fewer extensive areas of dark brown patches than in the next species (see below)

Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java.

Habitat preference

The only Bornean specimen is from Bidi in the lowlands of Sarawak.
