Diagnosis
The dark brown, arcuate, forewing discal marking distinguishes this species, and the strongly angled hindwing. The female of Eutoea heteroneurata Guenée is similar but lacks these features.
Taxonomic Notes
Assignment of jotaria to Calletaera is tentative, as discussed in the generic description.
Geographical Range
Sundaland, Sulawesi.
Habitat Preference
The species is uncommon, encountered on the Mulu survey in dipterocarp forest and lower montane forest on G. Mulu. Other material seen is also from both lowland and montane localities.
