Diagnosis

This is the smallest Bornean species, shades of brownish grey with the forewing markings typical of the genus.

The hindwing, however, is relatively uniform medium brownish grey above and with a weakly darker border below.

In the male genitalia the valves are paddle-like, lacking the strong costal and saccular processes seen in congeners.

Geographical range

Philippines, Talaut I., Sulawesi, Borneo, Taiwan.

Habitat preference

The only Bornean specimen is from Pulo Laut, a low-lying island at the southeast of Borneo.
