Diagnosis and taxonomic note
The wings are white above except for the basal grey zone of the hindwing. The forewing looks grey over the basal half, but this is the influence of the underside where both wings are extensively grey basally, with an even white border as broad as that on the hindwing above. The males lack this grey zone on the underside. The characteristics of the genitalia are as in A. cina, hence this species is tentatively transferred to Artaxa.

Borneo.
Habitat preference
Only the holotype female is known, from 1920m on G. Kinabalu.
