Diagnosis
The wings are a medium to dark dull brown, the forewing sometimes with a diffusely paler central patch that also occurs on the underside with a broader central pale area of the hindwing.
Geographical range
Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
The species has been recorded in forests from G. Kinabalu in Sabah, Bukit Retak in Brunei, and G. Mulu and G. Dulit in Sarawak over an altitude range from 1200m to 2100m.
