Arasada ornata Wileman
Enispa? ornata Wileman, 1911, Trans. ent. Soc. London, 1911: 226.
Penisa ornata Wileman; Holloway, 1976: 15.
Diagnosis and taxonomic note
The wing markings are pinkish grey on pale ochreous fawn as illustrated, with a faint, bipunctate discal mark on the forewing and a similar one in a much more basal position on the hindwing. Distal to that on the forewing, the pinkish grey forms a series of three biarcuate fasciae, the middle one much fainter than the other two. The innermost one is much closer to the discal mark than in the holotype from Japan. The female genitalia are as in more typical members of the genus except the belt of spines of the corpus bursae is deeper, and consists of more numerous, variably sized spines rather than a single ring.
Geographical range
Japan, Borneo.
Habitat preference
The only specimen from Borneo was taken at 1760m on G. Kinabalu.
