Altha kerangatis Holloway
Altha kerangatis Holloway, 1982 a: 183.
Diagnosis
The species is very similar to nivea** but, compared with Bornean nivea**, has the forewings more heavily marked with a greyer tone. The male genitalia were illustrated by Holloway (1982a: fig. 12), the great length and curvature of the left arm of the juxta being diagnostic. The putative female differs from that assigned to nivea** in having the anterior and lateral membrane to sternite 8 finely pilose.
Geographical Range
Borneo.
Habitat Preference
The holotype male was taken in wet heath forest (kerangas) on a river terrace near the Melinau Gorge, Sarawak, and the possible female in hill dipterocarp forest at 300m, Ulu Temburong, Brunei.
