Image of Adites alticurvata Holloway ♀

Adites alticurvata Holloway sp. n.

♂ 10mm, possible ♀ 12mm. The fasciation is less intense, with more white space intervening, than in the previous species, a feature also seen in the female, otherwise only associated through sharing a montane habitat. The male genitalia are similar to those of curvataexcept the valves are broader, particularly apically, including the distal saccular process. The subapical saccular spur is bifid. The cornuti are all generally larger than in curvata, the two largest being flexed subapically rather than evenly curved, the more basal one having an additional flexure towards its base.
