Geographical Range

Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi.

Habitat Preference

The only Bornean specimen seen was from mangrove in Brunei.

Taxonomic Notes

Further material of kalisi from Sulawesi in the BMNH indicates that the features of distinction noted by Roepke are unreliable, therefore it is placed as a synonym of euphyes.

Yakovlev (2004a) and Yakovlev & Witt (2009) have treated Zeuzera rhabdota Jordan as a good species rather than as a subspecies of caudata, whereas Schoorl (1990) followed the latter course, also including celebensis Roepke as a synonym.
