Diagnosis
This and the next two species differ from those of the previous group in the greener hyaline areas and more reddish borders of the wings. The female genitalia have the ductus and basal part of the bursa contiguous, narrow. In the male genitalia this and the next species have a slender digitate process on the interior of the ventral portion of the valve (much longer in nesiotica). The aedeagus vesica is more coarsely scobinate in eogenaria.
Geographical Range
Sulawesi, Sundaland; India, Burma (ssp. cosmiaria).
Habitat Preference
The few specimens seen are mainly from lowland forest, but one was taken at 1200m on G. Kinabalu.
Biology
The species has been reared from cocoa (Theobroma, Sterculiaceae) in Sabah (unpublished IIE records).
