Urbona dentilinealis Moore
Hypena dentilinealis Moore, 1877, Proc. zool. Soc. Lond., 1877: 613.
Urbona dentilinealis Moore; Kobes, 1997: 62.
Diagnosis
This and the next two species have similar pale silvery grey forewings with darker discal dots, linear, oblique fasciae that run from the apex to subbasally on the dorsum, and a weaker, more irregular, less oblique submarginal row of marks.
In dentilinealis the oblique forewing fascia is distinctly irregular, not an even curve; the discal mark is longitudinal rather than transverse.
The male genitalia have the dorsal margin of the valve without small angular processes.
Geographical range
Andamans, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
All material seen is from lowland forest, most taken on or adjacent to limestone during the Mulu survey.
