Toana semiochrealis Walker
Toana semiochrealis Walker, 1865, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus., 32: 501.
Diagnosis
See the generic account. The facies is, as stated there, very similar to that of L. decisissima, and the two can only reliably be separated on the difference in the venation of the forewing radial sector and in the features of the male abdomen.
Geographical range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference
The species has not been taken in Borneo in recent surveys. The lectotype (OUMNH: 1343) was taken in Sarawak, probably in the lowlands, by A.R. Wallace. The material from Peninsular Malaysia was taken on a slope with cultivation and forest fragments at about 600m.
