Taxonomic Note

Schintlmeister (1994b) revived the specific status of T. malayana, which is now known to extend to N. Vietnam and may well be sympatric with rufobrunnea Rothschild in this part of its range. S & P added Thailand, Burma and S. Yunnan to the range.

Geographical Range

India, Burma; Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.

Habitat Preference

Lowland rain forest; only three Bornean specimens noted.
