Diagnosis
Compared to Avathaspecies just treated, the forewings are relatively narrow, with black areas much more extensive, taking up more than half the wing and extending more closely to the distal margin.
Geographical range
Sundaland, Sulawesi, N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat preference
All records are from Brunei: five specimens from lowland forest (Ulu Temburong, Ulu Belait, Labi) below 500m.
