Diagnosis

See the generic description. The very irregular, dentate, fine white fasciae combined with the blackish coloration are diagnostic.

Geographical Range

Borneo.

Habitat Preference

All records have been from upper montane forest between 1600m and 2500m on G. Kinabalu, G. Mulu, and Bukit Retak and Bukit Pagon in Brunei.
