Diagnosis
The species is very small, similar in size and colour to Pasiphilodes subtrita Walker . The postmedials of both wings are more definite, that of the forewing with a single angle rather than a somewhat double one. Dissection of the genitalia is recommended to confirm identity.
Geographical Range
Sumbawa, Bali, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Philippines.
Habitat Preference
A single female was taken at the edge of mangrove forest near Kampong Kapok, Brunei, and another specimen by mangrove near Kota Kinabalu in 1997.
Biology
Yunus & Ho (1980) recorded the larva as feeding on Flacourtia (Flacourtiacae) in Peninsular Malaysia.
