Diagnosis
See Setora cupreiplaga Walker sp. rev. This species is larger with more variegated forewings in the male, and shorter blades to the furca.
Taxonomic notes
Externally this species resembles S. nitens Walker (Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java) but the latter has longer blades to the furca, more as in cupreistriga.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The species is common in a wide range of lowland vegetation types and has been recorded from as high as 1700m.
