Diagnosis
The combination of grey forewings and orange-red hindwings with a strong central angle to their margins renders this species unmistakable.
Geographical range
Sundaland.
Habitat preference
The species is rare, the only specimen seen with precise data being from lowland forest at 300m in the Ulu Temburong, Brunei.
Biology
The known host-plants are Cocos, Elaeis (Palmae), Coffea (Rubiaceae) and Lablab (Leguminosae) (Yunus & Ho, 1980; R. Desmier de Chenon, pers. comm.).
