Rosemariae albiscutulata Lajonquière

Diagnosis
Both wings are deep, dull red. The thin fasciae are dark brown, oblique, the exterior one curving basad asymptotically to the dorsum and also curved basad near the costa. The lunulate submarginal is more sinuous than in rosemariae, the pale markings enclosed by each lunule more conspicuous.
Geographical range
Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference
All specimens are from forested localities in the lowlands. The species is rare.
