Diagnosis
The species is distinguished from Spaniocentra species and Comibaeniti with similar facies by the size of the grey patch on the distal half of the forewing, traversing almost the entire wing, even in some specimens extending narrowly to the costa, cutting off a triangle of green at the apex.
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
The species is infrequent in lowland forest.
Biology
Barlow (1982: 124, under Chloromianta) noted the deep green larva to feed on Saraca (Leguminosae). Pupation is in a chamber formed of cut leaf pieces spun together.
