Diagnosis

This species can be distinguished from the two other white species in the genus by the fine and entire, rather than diffuse and broken, distal fasciation on the forewing. The antemedial is straight rather than obtusely angled.

Geographical Range

N.E. India; Malaysia, Sumatra, Java (ssp. nycthemera); Borneo (ssp. sinuata).

Habitat Preference

Only old material from lowland localities has been seen.
