Bell (MS) described the larva of the sister species, *centristricta.*It is very similar in shape and markings to that of Teleclita species; the colour is a blue-tinged grass-green, speckled with pale yellow or white and with chocolate brown or purplish brown markings. The mode of pupation in a cocoon on the bark of a tree is also similar, as is the host-plant, Terminalia.
