Geographical range

Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (FRIM collection), Sumatra, Sulawesi.

Habitat preference

This species was taken frequently during the Mulu survey but perhaps has a more restricted range of habitats than delostigma. It was only frequent on G. Mulu at higher altitudes (500m) in hill dipterocarp forest and at 1000m in lower montane forest, also in lowland and lower montane forest on the limestone G. Api. It was the only Petelia found in any frequency in the kerangas forest on river terraces west of the Melinau Gorge.
