Diagnosis

The wings are medium reddish brown with faint, entire, darker fasciae and a darker discal dot.

Geographical Range

Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.

Habitat Preference

The species appears to be rare. Single specimens were taken in lowland alluvial forest and lower montane forest (1000m) during the Mulu survey, and at 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei. It has also been taken in a Pinus caribaea plantation by Mr Chey Vun Khen.
