Diagnosis

The insect is a uniformly dull purplish grey.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

The three known specimens were all taken in very tall montane forest on the Mesilau Plateau at 1500m on G. Kinabalu.

This habitat has now been destroyed and replaced by a golf course and a cattle ranch.
