Diagnosis

The forewings are olive green, reticulated with ring-like white markings; the green is paler and the white markings broader in the female. The abdomen is longer in the male and, together with the hindwings, is dark grey (greyish white in the female).

Geographical range

Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference

Bornean material is limited to a single male from lower montane forest at 1000m on G. Mulu. Sumatran material was recorded from the same altitude.

Biology

Kobes (locs cit.) stated the species was reared in Sumatra by E.W. Diehl and had a typical nolid boat-shaped cocoon, bright yellow, with a vertical exit slit at one end.

The host-plant was unidentified.
