Diagnosis

The ground colour is fawn with shades of grey. The forewing has a narrow, dark brown medial band that has a biarcuate, whitish mark from the reniform at its distal edge. The subapical brown patch on the costa is more strongly curved at its margin basally, and is larger than in Papuacola gemina Fabricius, and broken by pale marks associated with the submarginal.
